here’s how I was challenged this morning.

In the beginning was the Word

yet I think I’m wiser than God.

Through him all things were made

yet I hold and horde too much

Through him (John)…that all men might believe

yet I’m worried if I’m liked or right

The Word became flesh and dwelt among us

yet I don’t take time to know him better

We have received blessing after blessing

yet I’m entitled and thankless
